A personal driver, or chauffeur, provides safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for company directors and their families. This role requires a high degree of discretion, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The driver is also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the company vehicle and assists with various errands.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation Services:
Safely and efficiently transport directors and their children to various locations, including schools, offices, appointments, and other destinations as required.
Plan and optimize travel routes to ensure timely arrivals, using navigation tools and local knowledge to account for traffic, road conditions, and weather.
Maintain a high level of
punctuality
and adhere strictly to the schedule provided by management.
Vehicle Maintenance and Upkeep:
Ensure the vehicle is always clean and well-maintained, both inside and out.
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections, checking all critical components like fuel, oil, and tire pressure.
Schedule and send the company vehicle for regular cleaning, servicing, and repairs.
Source reliable car parts suppliers and reputable car workshops
for all vehicle servicing and repair needs, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
Report any mechanical issues or damage to the management promptly.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
Be fully
responsible for the safety of all passengers and the vehicle
at all times.
Administrative and Other Duties:
Handle all
outgoing and collection of documents
on behalf of the company, including mail, packages, and other important paperwork.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and expenses.
Assist in other assignments
as advised by the management, which may include running errands or providing support with various tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Proven professional driving experience, preferably as a personal driver or chauffeur for executives.
Driving Record:
A valid driver's license and a
clean driving record
with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns. Proficiency in using GPS and navigation systems.
Skills:
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A high level of reliability, professionalism, and discretion.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
