Responsible for application and renewal of license/certificate required for veterinary pharmacy business.
To ensure proper storage of medicine by standard retail pharmacy running documents, procedures and proper recording as required by pharmacy board under Sales of Drugs Act 1952 and Control of Drugs and Cosmetics Regulations 1984.
Collaborating with veterinarian to plan, monitor, review, reassess and evaluate effectiveness of treatment.
Responsible for dispensing and controlling both prescription and non-prescription medicines.
Compounding medicine tailored to the needs of individual patient.
Reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and authenticity.
Checking for drug interactions and recommending drug therapy changes when appropriate.
Counselling pet owner regarding appropriate use of pharmaceutical products.
Provide advice and information to client on pet health issues and clinical symptoms.
To manage point of sales and client management systems.
Ensure efficient pharmaceutical stock management.
Develop, train and motivate team members in product knowledge and promoting good customer service.
Provide other related pharmaceutical care services and relevant administrative functions.
Complete relevant continuing education courses.
Job Requirements:
Must be possess a recognized Pharmacy degree or above with registered license.
Matured, patient and of pleasant personality.
Strong in communication skills.
Able to work independently, as well as a good team player.
Possess a positive work attitude.
