POSITION : Petrophysicist
REPORTING TO : Head of Sarawak Petroleum Development Section
DIVISION/DEPARTMENT : PLS / PLP / PLP/K
LOCATION : Kuala Lumpur
1. KEY OBJECTIVES
- Appraisal and development assessment of appropriate areas and fields.
- Operational (drilling and well intervention) planning and execution for appraisal and development wells.
- Provide direct support to company\'s appraisal and development efforts.
- Plan and manage cost-effective logging and coring programs.
- Carry out near real-time formation evaluation in support of drilling and well intervention operations.
- Plan, undertake and manage petrophysical studies for reservoir characterization and volumetric resource assessment.
- As provided/assigned by Head of Sarawak Petroleum Development Section
- Liaise with immediate team members and extended team members in drilling, development and production.
- Degree in the relevant field with 5 - 9 years\' experience.
- Good knowledge of MWD/LWD, wireline logging tools and formation evaluation techniques.
- Good IT and data management skills.
- Familiar in evaluating vintage logs.
- Good skills in interfacing between G & G, reservoir engineering and drilling.
