Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company SOPs.Ensure compliance with the Poison Act, Pharmacy Act, GDP, and other relevant industry regulations.Maintain proper prescription handling, storage of medicines, and record-keeping as per MOH and NPRA requirements.Resolve operational, legal, and security issues promptly.
B. Sales, Profitability & Business Growth
Meet or exceed sales targets, production goals, and profitability KPIs.Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform business planning.Implement effective stock management strategies, including ordering, replenishment, and minimising wastage.Organise promotions, events, and marketing activities to drive customer traffic and engagement.
C. Customer Service & Engagement
Ensure staff consistently deliver exceptional customer care.Respond to customer feedback, complaints, and enquiries promptly and professionally.Build strong relationships with local communities, doctors, and health practitioners to promote Alpro services.
D. People Management & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor pharmacy team members.Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvement plans.Create a positive, motivated, and high-performance work culture.
E. Reporting & Communication
Use IT systems to record and analyse sales figures, stock movement, and operational data.Update HQ and management teams on business performance, initiatives, and key operational issues.Coordinate with HQ departments (Operations, People Management, Branding & Marketing, Procurement, Logistics, OICS, Engagement, Customer Service, Finance) for support and compliance.
