Job Description

Supervision

: Assists the pharmacy manager in overseeing daily operations of the pharmacy department.

Standards and Compliance

: Ensures medication preparation, dispensing, and pharmacy practices meet professional, legal, and hospital standards.

Quality Programs

: Helps the pharmacy manager in creating, documenting, and implementing quality improvement programs.

Prescription Management

: Reviews, prepares, dispenses, and documents patient prescriptions while ensuring appropriateness and accuracy.

Controlled Substances

: Maintains and reviews records of narcotics and controlled medications, resolving any discrepancies.

Cytotoxic Drugs

: Supports the safe preparation, handling, and disposal of cytotoxic drugs and waste.

Standards Implementation

: Assists in implementing pharmaceutical standards like Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Patient Programs

: Enrolls patients in assistance programs, provides counseling, and ensures timely medication access.

Inventory Control

: Enforces proper drug inventory management, including storage, purchasing, and supply maintenance throughout the hospital.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
