Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Serving as the primary point of contact for patients, greeting them, and answering basic health or product-related questions.

Assisting Pharmacists:

Supporting the pharmacist in the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, which may involve counting tablets, labeling medication bottles, and packaging items for patient pickup.

Inventory Management:

Ordering, receiving, unpacking, and organizing pharmaceutical stock and supplies. This includes monitoring stock levels, checking for expired products, and ensuring proper storage conditions.

Sales and Cashiering:

Handling sales transactions, operating the Point of Sale (POS) system, and processing payments (cash and card).

Record Keeping:

Maintaining and updating patient records and prescription documentation in the pharmacy's computer systems while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Store Maintenance:

Ensuring the pharmacy area and displays are clean, tidy, and well-organized.

Administrative Support:

Performing general clerical duties such as answering phone calls and coordinating with other healthcare professionals or insurance companies.
Requirements and Skills:

Education:

Diploma in Pharmacy or Science background is preferred.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in English & Bahasa Malaysia

Attention to Detail:

Meticulousness is crucial to ensure accuracy in handling medications and patient information.

Technical Skills:

Basic computer literacy to operate pharmacy software and POS systems.

Work Ethic:

The ability to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays
