Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

Photographer & Photo Editor

to capture high-quality images of our used car inventory and ensure all photos meet our branding standards. This role is essential in showcasing vehicles accurately and attractively across our website, social media, and listings platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, good understanding of lighting and composition, and is capable of delivering quick turnarounds in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Photography

Photograph all incoming vehicles (interior, exterior, engine bay, key features, imperfections). Ensure consistent composition, lighting, and angles according to company guidelines. Maintain and update the dealership's

photo standards manual

(e.g., number of images, required shots). Organize and maintain photography equipment.

2. Photo Editing & Post-Production

Edit and enhance photos using professional editing software (color correction, brightness, cropping, retouching). Remove minor background distractions while keeping vehicle representation truthful. Apply dealership branding templates or watermarks where required. Resize and optimize images for websites, social media, and online listing platforms.

3. Content & Asset Management

Upload images to the inventory management system or website. Ensure each vehicle has complete and consistent photo sets before listings go live. Manage a digital library of images, properly labeled and archived.

4. Coordination & Workflow

Coordinate with other teams to track vehicles ready for photography. Ensure fast turnaround times so vehicles can be listed without delay.

Required Skills & Proficiencies

Proficiency in

Adobe Photoshop

,

Lightroom

, or equivalent editing tools. Strong photography knowledge: lighting, framing, camera settings, and composition. Ability to operate DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, tripods, lighting equipment. Efficient workflow management and ability to meet deadlines. Familiarity with online marketplace requirements (e.g., Mudah, Carlist, Facebook Marketplace) is a plus. Basic understanding of color accuracy and file management. Strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Photography, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or related field (preferred). 1-2 years of photography/editing experience (interest in automotive industry is a bonus). Portfolio demonstrating previous work.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
