ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Xsolla Webshop team is looking for a passionate Backend developer to work on the company\'s product Store - a service of monetization for games. Xsolla hires not coders but creative minds who are technology obsessed. If you are an experienced backend developer but your tech stack is different we provide training in order to align your experience and our technologies.

We connect millions of users and games worldwide. We help players get the fastest return on their game investment. And for games, we help attract more players around the world. Our team develops new ways of monetization, creates different types of items (virtual items, virtual currency, game keys, physical items, bundles), manages catalog (prices, regional settings, promotions) and player inventory, customizes solutions for partners and faces other non-trivial tasks.

Our stack:

Backend: PHP 8 (Symfony, Doctrine)

Frontend: SPA on React

Infrastructure: MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, ELK, Docker, k8s \

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the functionality of the Store and maintain it
• Create new services for new features
• Take part in partner integrations
• Offer new ideas for improving the product

REQUIREMENTS

• Have experience in programming and industrial web application backend development in PHP or Go (or any other server-side object language: Java, C#, Ruby, python, etc.);
• Have a good understanding of algorithms and data structures;
• Understand decomposition principles, OOP and patterns;
• Can write testable code, unit and functional tests;
• Have a good command of SQL, database design, OLTP/OLAP approaches;
• Have been involved in team development;
• Read manuals and technical literature in English.

PREFERRED

• Have experience in building high-load enterprise applications, event-driven systems;
• Know the architectural application patterns and have experience applying them;
• Work with continuous integration and deployment systems: Docker, Capistrano, Jenkins, Gitlab, etc;
• Have done Frontend development (for example, have experience developing SPA applications).
