Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate PHP Software Engineer to join our dynamic product development team and help build the next generation of our social commerce platform. This role involves working on Facebook OpenGraph integrations, third-party service connectivity, and designing systems that handle high data volumes with scalability and performance in mind.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain innovative applications in a collaborative team environment.

Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules using modern frameworks.

Solve complex architectural and performance challenges for large-scale data environments.

Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to connect multiple systems and services.

Ensure application scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability through proper architecture and caching strategies.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development.

Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented PHP Programming and modern frameworks (Laravel preferred).

Experience in API design, integration, and data synchronization between systems.

Proficiency in database systems -- MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.

Solid understanding of MVC architecture and design principles for scalable applications.

Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React for seamless integration.

Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive UI development.

Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Basic understanding of Shopify Liquid, theme structure, and API integration.

Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar) is a plus.

Understanding of performance profiling, caching (Redis, Memcached), and asynchronous processing.

Interest in social commerce, live commerce, or e-commerce platforms.
