Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physics/Science Teacher to join IMAS. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and a passion for inspiring students in the field of science.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Physics and General Science to secondary students according to the school curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments. Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that support diverse learning needs. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary. Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives. Participate in school meetings, trainings, events, and professional development activities. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field (Master's preferred but not required). Previous teaching experience in secondary education is preferred. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with staff, students, and parents.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Physics and general sciences. Ability to motivate and inspire students. Good organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning.

Pay: RM2,850.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
