Job Description

To provide therapy services as required. To carry out assessment on residents as part of the pre-admission assessment and to conduct regular routine assessment on the in-house residents who may require physio service. To recommend appropriate physio programme for the resident. To keep good records of all services performed and to submit weekly case reports to the Centre/Home/Hospital manager. A monthly consolidated report for workload statistics and other concerns to do with service standards would be required to be submitted to the Country Director. To administrate and take charge of the physiotherapy office, station, equipment and all relevant facilities. To report any faults to the manager/superior. Ensure proper documentation and billing for patients. To coordinate and work closely with the centre /home/ward staff nurse for the conduct of physio or rehab programme for the residents. To ensure that residents' best interest is being looked after at all times. To actively promote the physiotherapy services both in-house as well as those prospective clients externally. Be responsible for the improvement of day-to-day operations and to make suggestion to the usage of such physiotherapy facilities at the Centre/Homes/Hospital. When required, provide training for therapy and non-therapy staff. When applicable, supervise staff assisting in the implementation of therapy programmes. As when required, will be assigned to perform home services or services at other designated locations besides Centre/Home/Hospital
