Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Piping Designer Coordinator based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Responsibilities entail:
- Coordinate with Disciplines Leads on design basis and direction
- Piping Design Coordinator with ability to use PDMS
- Coordinate with and assist the Engineering Manager and project Technical Lead on design schedules, budget, and when information must be recieved, or decisions made to avoid schedule or cost impacts
- Attending project meetings
- Accountability for delivery, production levels, consistency and overall quality of work
- Providing support to a project in all aspects of piping design and layout
- Tracking deliverable status, model progress, studies, co-ordination and any other design tasks not tied directly to deliverables
- Attending and leading project model review meetings - Managing deliverables issue and transmittal records as needed
- 15+ years PDMS experience
- 15+ years of experience in oil & gas, offshore facilities
- Previous experience as Design coordinator for Major Capital Project
- Associate's Degree or Certification in a design discipline
