Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity. Review and analyze engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) for accurate material planning and job routing. Monitor work orders through the manufacturing process to ensure timely completion and delivery. Coordinate with purchasing and inventory control to ensure raw materials and components are available. Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and production delays. Collaborate with production supervisors to balance workload and optimize machine and labor resources. Maintain ERP/MRP system data accuracy (job routings, lead times, inventory levels). Communicate job priorities to the shop floor and track progress. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements. Work closely with the quality department to ensure products meet specifications and rework is minimized. Generate and maintain KPIs and reports related to production planning and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Experience in production planning or materials management, preferably in sheet metal fabrication or assembly. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.). Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
