As a member of Supply Chain team, the Planner is responsible to ensure the Quality Systems and HSEM systems in accordance with IATF16949:2016 and ISO 14001 standards respectively are adhered to and implemented at all time. This position is to be based at Tanjung Malim, Perak reports to a Manager. The Role Key responsibilities include the following: To ensure material ordering and scheduling to make sure material supply meets production requirement. To plan for inventory management process to avoid shortages and excesses while maintaining inventory of materials with optimum stock levels. To establish daily, weekly and monthly production plan and forecast reports based on capacity requirements to meets customer demands. To communicate and coordinate with suppliers, related departments including Quality and Production and delivery to fulfill delivery and customer needs. To monitor and track shipment and give heads up if have any delay on arrival or deviate from original plan. To establish, monitor and communicates short and long term constrains while working to fulfill production and customer demand. To work with Integrated Cross Functional Team (Engineering, IE, Quality, Production, Purchasing) and Program Manager from development to mass production. To involve in implementation of company\'s policies, procedure and processes and ensure adherence to quality policies and related guideline/rules. To undertake any other assignments directed by management from time to time. Qualification/ Requirement: Degree/Diploma with 2-5 years working experience as Material/Production Planner, especially in a manufacturing environment (those with Automotive Industry experience are an added advantage). In-depth knowledge of material planning and production planning. Good knowledge of MRP (SAP), inventory management and Bills of Materials Good knowledge on Quality Standards and quality assurance discipline. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, able to work independently.
