Job Description

s : 1. Schedules, plans and oversees the entire program of work. 2. Plans, organizes, and coordinates planning activities. 3. Selects the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of activities to complete project scope. 4. Inputs the work breakdown structure information to assess an accurate forecast on time, resources and cash flow of the project. 5. Maintains and updates stationary & rotating equipment technical records, prepares technical reports, helps in generating data for inputs to budgets, improvement in maintenance methods / procedures, equipment replacement, etc. 6. Determines appropriate logistics solution in managing resources. 7. Sets up alerts for all important contractual and milestone dates. 8. Prepares cash flow, charts and histograms on planning projects. 9. Verifies critical path and interfaces between design / engineering / procurement / execution. 10. Monitors progress periodically and compares it with the baseline planning. 11. Updates the schedule based on inputs received from project team. 12. Prepares the monthly progress reports. 13. Prepares the monthly Labor histograms. 14. Accumulates, collects and analyses data and information required for planning. 15. To promote the awareness of health, safety and environmental requirements throughout the company. REQUIREMENTS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in construction managment or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 7 year(s) of working experience in planning preferably with engineering consultancy or construction company. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of Spreadsheet software, Word processing software, Microsoft Project and Primavera \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication and writing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. \xe2\x80\xa2 Multi-tasking & Problem-Solving Skill. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to meet tight deadlines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Capable to work independently, pleasant, self-disciplined, and self-motivated. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work at Subang Bestari, Selangor, possess own transport and able to attend any site meeting and outstation upon required.
