About the Role:

SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. is part of a global group headquartered in China, specializing in the design and manufacture of automotive seating motors and wiper system for leading car manufacturers worldwide such as BMW, Tesla, Ford, BYD and others. As a Planning Executive, you will play a key role in developing and monitoring production plans, ensuring timely delivery to customers, while driving efficiency, cross-department coordination, and continuous improvement across operations and systems.

What You'll Be Doing:

Production Planning & Monitoring

- Consolidate customer forecasts and orders to prepare shipping plans. Develop monthly, weekly and daily production schedules based on demand, inventory, and capacity. Monitor progress in real-time, resolve bottlenecks, and adjust plans to achieve on-time delivery (OTD).

Cross-Department Coordination

- Work with procurement for material readiness, production for scheduling, logistics for shipment planning, warehouse for stock counts, and quality for rework. Manage urgent/rush orders and equipment downtime by flexibly adjusting plans.

Production Efficiency & Cost Optimization

- Review output vs. capacity to support monthly S&OP. Analyze production data (equipment utilization, labor losses, etc.) and recommend process improvements. Support Lean / Six Sigma initiatives and cost reduction strategies to reduce waste and optimize resources.

System & Data Management

- Maintain ERP production modules to ensure data accuracy. Generate production reports to support management decisions. Integrate MES and WMS systems for alignment between systems and physical stock.

Compliance & Audit

- Ensure planning complies with automotive industry standards (MMOG/LE, APQP, PPAP). Support customer audits and review customer demand and logistics plans to improve internal processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. Strong skills in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of production planning and MRP/ERP systems (Kingdee / SAP PP preferred) will be an added advantage. Familiar with automotive industry standards and supply chain processes will be an added advantage. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Language: Fluent in Mandarin (to communicate with internal staff and customers). English and Malay are required.
