Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the workflow of parts and products through internal and external manufacturing locations and associated information systems.
• Establish master schedules, production schedules, labour loading, and capacity requirements.
• Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Participate in/drive the Sales and Operations Planning Process.
• Collaborate with other supply chain members, engineering, quality, manufacturing and others to optimize product flow, manage change, and launch new products.
• Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labour and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
• Ensures compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the Master Production Schedule is fulfil customer requirement and delivery
• Analyze demand / forecast to determine required capacity
• Develops production plan and release manufacturing orders to support the plan
• Work closely with production to ensure production meet on time delivery.
• Daily monitoring on production progress vs production planning.
• Perform materials analysis for Clear To Build against customer demand and pull in
• E&O analysis and perform liability claim.
• Monitoring the stocks of raw materials, WIP & FG as well as control to their minimum level.
• Minimize obsolete and aging stock to ensure business is left with minimum liability.

Requirements:

• Possess a degree in any relevant field.
• Possess good negotiation, proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Related working experience in production planning.
• Analytical and computer literate. Proficient in using Excel.
• An active team player, able to work proactively and independently with minimum supervision.
• Sound knowledge of the principles and practices of manufacturing planning.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Executive specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
• Experience in using SAP, MRP and able to handle customers and suppliers will be an added advantage.
