This role involves managing radiation plant systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining high operational standards. The engineer will lead projects, solve complex technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the plant\'s operations.Duties - cont\'dTeam Collaboration:

• Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and plant staff to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.
• Foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and mutual support.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians in radiation plant operations, safety protocols, and best practices.

Radiation Protection:

• Act as Radiation Protection Supervisor/Officer (RPS/RPO) category 1, ensuring compliance with all radiation protection standards.
• Oversee the proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct radiation safety training for plant personnel and ensure ongoing compliance with safety regulations.

Documentation and ReportingProject ManagementDuties

• Plant Operations:

• Oversee daily operations of gamma radiation facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of radiation equipment and systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to radiation plant operations promptly to minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all plant activities comply with local, national, and international radiation safety regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for the handling and operation of radiation equipment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.

Education DegreeAssociate\'s DegreeBachelor\'s DegreeRequired Experience

• Development and execution of preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance, minimum 2 years
• Hand on experience in equipment and machinery troubleshooting, minimum 5 years
• Supervising skill, minimum 3 years
• Involvement in quality system, minimum 3 years
• Involvement in safety & health related issue, minimum 2 years
• Engineering related skill, industrial automation, specializing in Siemens PLC & SCADA
• Knowledge or experience in switching, RF and high frequency oscillator circuit preferred
• Knowledge or experience in HSE procedure/ rules and regulations and COSHH requirement
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
