Job Description

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of the annual CAPEX and OPEX budget.
• Ensure all engineering/maintenance activities conforms to procedures and shall ensure compliance with safety, legislative, environmental and certifying authority requirements such as GMP & HALAL authorities.
• Lead all new construction/projects and ensure implementation of maintenance routine.
• Formulate and devise engineering/maintenance strategy for manufacturing technologies and equipment in order to maximize performance while minimizing cost and environmental impact.
• Lead commissioning activities of all new machineries and installation.
• In charge of team to liaise with external authority like DOE, TNB & SYABAS.
• Be a team player and support operation on breakdown, troubleshooting and repair. Provide analysis to quality team for quality investigation and improvements.
• Compile plant data for performing continuous improvement activities.
• Manage, develop, train and coach his/her direct reports
• To perform any other tasks as assigned by Superior.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electromechanical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in handling machineries and facilities operation
• Able to entrust and work independently with minimum supervision
• Willing to travel (local & oversea)
• Added advantage if work before as plant engineer for food manufacturing facility
