Job Description

• To manage the plantation operation under his supervision in accordance with best agronomy practices and internal plantation policies.
• Improve control systems in the estate and ensure that wastages and losses are minimized.
• To ensure the plantation operations are carried out in a way that objectives, yield targets and business plan are met by implement plantation related activities, such as fertilizing, upkeep and other related planting programs during the scheduled time periods as recommend, ensure harvesting and dispatching of crop carried out according to the regular time intervals in an effective and efficient manner.
• Ensure proper allocation of labor, estate vehicles and other equipment among the different fields and different activities so that the optimum level of productivity is achieved from the utilization of the available resources to their maximum.
• To inculcate a performance driven culture among the plantation workforce, whilst achieving the highest level of efficiencies/productivity on all levels of operations.
• Monitor effectiveness of training at estate/company level and ensure adequate returns of investment (ROI) are achieved.
• Coordinate and ensure efficient planning of resources in HR matters, civil infrastructure matters, implement all relevant EHS policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Any other job responsibilities as and when required by the superior/company.

Job requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or equivalent.
• At least 15 years of working experience in oil palm plantation industry and minimum 3 years of working experience at Senior Management level are required for this position.
• Experience working with local Indonesian and understand local authorities, law and regulations.
• Similar experience managing more than ten thousand hectares.
