Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Playgroup Teacher/Assistant Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. As a Playgroup Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans and fostering the holistic development of preschool-aged children. Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement age-appropriate and creative lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of young learners.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and organized classroom environment that promotes active participation and exploration.
  • Curriculum Enhancement: Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the curriculum, incorporating best practices in early childhood education.
  • Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to monitor the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication with parents, providing updates on children\'s achievements, challenges, and overall well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning community.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Minimum qualification of KAP (Kursus Asuhan Permata), ECE (Early Childhood Education), TELSO (Teaching English in Schools and Other Languages), or Montessori education.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing effective lesson plans for playgroup-aged children.
  • Passion for Early Childhood Education: A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their overall development.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to create a positive learning environment.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the classroom and curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid for children.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month Benefits:

Education:
  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

License/Certification:
  • KAP, TELSO, or ECE (Required)
