Job Overview:

The PMC (Production Planning & Material Control) Assistant supports production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and coordination between departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations, timely delivery, and efficient material usage in battery manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecasts. Update production schedules and monitor progress against plan. Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to schedules. Track production output and report variances to PMC Manager. Monitor raw material, components, and packaging material inventory levels. Assist in material requirement planning (MRP) for production needs. Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams for material availability. Support stock control, FIFO implementation, and inventory accuracy. Liaise with production, QA/QC, warehouse, logistics, and purchasing departments. Follow up on material shortages, production delays, and delivery issues. Support cross-functional communication for smooth workflow. Maintain production planning records, schedules, and inventory reports. Prepare daily production reports and material usage summaries. Update planning systems/Excel trackers and ERP systems. Assist in audit documentation and compliance records.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (or specify years of experience if required). Basic knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and manufacturing processes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic ERP/MRP systems. Good communication and coordination skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
