Planner Material Control (PMC) Manager Salary Range: Open for discussion

Working Location: Petaling Jaya

Job summary:
Our client's HQ is in Taiwan where they manufacture consumer & innovative home-related products. Malaysia is one of the most important markets in SEA where two plants are based in Malaysia. Candidates with a cost management mindset and experience in planner material control, warehouse management or a mixture of supply chain is ideal!

What you'll do:

• Plan production tasks and scheduled according to customer's orders.
• Develop and review production plan with teams.
• Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely manner.
• Escalate complex issues and final resolution.
• Review production status: Plan vs Actual, WIP, Scrap, Shipment, Attrition, Resources Planning and etc.
• Analyze back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan and scheduled the production lines.
• Analyze delays and interruptions, adjust production schedule to meet deadlines accordingly.
• Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.
• Coordinate with the relative departments and supporting teams.
• Provide training to the down liners.

What do you need to have to succeed in this role:

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master's Degree in Management/ Business or equivalent.
• Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
• Required skills: Microsoft Office, communication skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, ability to handle multi-task, ability to manage a team of more than 30 headcounts.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Manufacturing or Engineering environment, experience working in EMS/CM (with 3 years of experience in PMC management, 3 years of experience in team management, 5 years of warehouse management)
