About the Role



We are seeking a driven and results-oriented

Portfolio Sales Manager

to lead and grow our sales portfolio within the chocolate and confectionery industry. This role requires strong business acumen, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to strategically expand product reach across key markets.

The Portfolio Sales Manager will oversee multiple product lines, maintain relationships with existing clients, and identify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives.

Main Roles and Responsibilities



Manage and grow the

sales portfolio

across various product categories (e.g., compound chocolate, coatings, fillings, etc.). Develop and execute

strategic sales plans

to achieve company targets and expand market share. Maintain and strengthen

relationships with existing customers

while identifying and acquiring

new clients

locally and internationally. Understand client needs and provide

customized product solutions

, including technical or formulation support where needed. Conduct

regular sales visits, presentations, and product sampling sessions

with clients. Collaborate closely with the

R&D, production, and QA teams

to ensure customer requirements are met. Monitor

sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities

to provide insights and recommendations. Prepare and present

sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses

to management. Prepare and submit

weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports

, including
- Sales performance vs. target

- Customer activity updates

- Pipeline and forecast analysis

- Market feedback and improvement suggestions

Manage pricing, quotations, and customer credit in alignment with company policies. Participate in

trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events

to promote the company's products. Report directly to the

Sales & Marketing Manager / CEO

with regular updates on portfolio performance and challenges.

Our Ideal Candidate



Confident communicator with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a passion for achieving sales growth. Independent, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounts efficiently. Strong understanding of the

FMCG or food manufacturing industry

(experience in chocolate, dairy, or fats preferred).

Requirements



Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in

Business, Marketing, Food Technology

, or a related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in B2B or FMCG sales, preferably in food manufacturing. Proven track record in

portfolio sales

. Proficient in

Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.

Excellent command of

English and Bahasa Malaysia

. Willing to travel for client visits or trade events. Possesses a valid driver's license and own transport.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
