Job Description

Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is an established billion-ringgit public listed food manufacturing company. We aspire to be a leading food manufacturing enterprise in the region. Responsible to plan, develop, execute, and monitor flock health through good veterinary observation, husbandry, and bio-security practice. Develop and implement quality management processes and guidelines to enhance quality, efficiency, and performance at the Contract Farming and OMBB. Work closely with technical team to advise, support, resolve and enhance services and customer satisfaction in the production of broilers under different management systems. Respond to customer complaints and external audits to ensure complaints (day old chick, feed, harvesting) non-conformances (i.e. broiler weights and uniformity, broiler defects, feed-in-crop, swollen hocks) and queries are attended to within the specified timeframe. Work closely with the veterinary authorities, local government authorities (JPH, JAS, JPS) and trade associations to ensure environmental and legal compliance is adhered to. Lead the veterinary technical consultation, flock health assessment, monitoring, prescription, diagnosis, necropsy, sample collection and dispatch to laboratories for disease investigation. Work closely with relevant parties on measures of bio-exclusion and biocontainment of avian diseases such as LPAI and HPAI. Ensure proper SOPs are practiced regularly to achieve MyGAP certification with the department of Veterinary Services. Conduct farm audits, root cause analysis (RCA) and assist in implementing corrective and continuous improvements at the farm. Plan and implement quality-related activities and programs such as experiments, trials and observations in the area of poultry integration, internal and external stakeholders needs on products, feeds and product quality metrics. Ensure that all aspects of good animal husbandry practices and quality assurances are implemented and followed through. Provide guidance and best practices on operations analysis and operational improvement. To perform any other task and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time. Qualifications Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master\'s Degree, Doctorate (PhD), Veterinary or equivalent.
