Senior BI Analyst (Power BI & Microsoft Fabric)

We're expanding our Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities at Accuris and are looking for a

Senior BI Analyst

who can design and deliver high-quality dashboards and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate is hands-on with

Power BI

and

Microsoft Fabric

, understands data modeling in

Snowflake

, and can translate complex business needs into clear, insightful dashboards for executives and go-to-market teams.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development & UX

Build and deliver

executive-level dashboards

with consistent design, layout, and mobile responsiveness. Create

reusable visual components and templates

(e.g., KPI tiles, small multiples, sparklines). Implement

global filters, synced slicers, and other UX enhancements

to ensure a smooth user experience. Develop or customize visuals when necessary (experience with TypeScript, React, or Vega/Vega-Lite is a plus).

Data & Performance

Collaborate with Snowflake engineers to prepare and optimize data views for BI use. Write and validate

SQL queries

to ensure data accuracy and efficiency. Design and maintain

performant, scalable, and cost-efficient

BI models. Troubleshoot ETL and data quality issues and ensure dashboards are reliable in real time.

Required Skills & Experience

4-6 years

in BI or analytics, including

4+ years of deep Power BI

(Desktop + Service) experience. Proven experience in

end-to-end dashboard delivery

-- from design to deployment. Strong in

DAX

,

Power Query (M)

, and

star schema design

. Skilled in

performance tuning

(query folding, incremental refresh, aggregation tables, calculation groups). Working knowledge of

Snowflake

and

medallion architecture

. Familiar with

data governance, security, and deployment pipelines

. Excellent

communication and storytelling skills

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
