YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary

The Workflow Automation & Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing and developing Power Automate / Power App solutions in collaboration with Brenntag users searching for solutions. Creating and maintaining documentation for developed tools, training and supporting applications and customizations, share information, support projects go-live, hyper care, and post-production support, manage environments, interact with users.

S/he/they will also provide organizational support and technical expertise in Microsoft environment, and operational knowledge around processes workflow automation and optimization. S/he/they will work collaboratively and proactively with global team colleagues, stakeholders, partners, and system integrators while ensuring compliance with company practices, policies and strategies.

The Consultant - Power Platform developer will report to Senior Team Lead - Global Workflow Automation & RPA.

Responsibilities:(The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role)

• Support Power Automate / Power App applications Portfolio, i.e., across the globe under Global Business Services Platforms, access management, documentation, statistics, interaction with other O365 services like Microsoft SharePoint Online.
• Interact with the team: SharePoint & Web Applications team, Collaboration RPA and workflow automation platforms and SharePoint Administration colleagues.
• Take over development, change management, documentation of apps solutions according to business requirements.
• Interact with other Brenntag teams such as engineering, product, security, development, QA, helpdesk, etc.
• Perform analysis of requirements and schedules. Collaborate with stakeholder groups to ensure that appropriate resources are allocated to projects to ensure successful and timely completion.
• Manage project requirements and business risks incl. transparent management reporting and budgeting.
• Cultivate positive and collaborative culture among the team, that can instill respect, trust, and high say-do ratio.
• Proven experience in delivering successful results, a strong sense of ownership, and a passion for defining and driving improvement of own tasks.
• Good understanding of business processes

YOUR PROFILE

Essential Requirements:(The abilities that the individual needs to perform this role effectively)

• Bachelor\'s degree or Master\'s degree in Information Technology, Operations, or other-related industry experience.
• 7 + years of professional experience, with minimum 4 years in Microsoft tools specially Power Platforms solutions, workflow automation, SharePoint.
• Strategic thinker who is business-centric and customer-focused
• Experience with user interfaces, user motivation
• Clear thinker who can piece together system and data flows (downstream, midstream, and upstream) and to identify business/user impacts, data flow, and process flow.Also, to mitigate risks.
• Proven success creating and supporting Power Automate and Power App solutions
• Experience in agile methodologies and ITIL-service operations
• Executive presence and Cross-Culture Awareness
• Good communication skill, in both written and verbal
• Strong operation and execution track-records (say-do)
• Self-starter, proactive, and collaborative

Desirable Requirements: (Not essential) * Industrial or Chemical Industry experience.

• Experience in designing UI for applications using any of the follow: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, SharePoint Framework, SPFX, React.
• Experience with any other programming languages
• Experience of RPA
