Responsibilities

• Responsible in overseeing a team of Managers and executives in managing and facilitating multiple client accounts.

• Ensure smooth day-to-day activities of client servicing and reporting.

• Facilitate internal / external communications and activities including publications, media planning & execution, client acquisition, etc.

• Oversee events, launches and other PR related activities.

• Develop, recommend and manage communications strategies to meet client\xe2\x80\x99s objectives.

• To lead and pursue new business opportunities for PR through business development initiatives, participation of pitches and recommending proposals.

• Grow the team accordingly in terms of size and skills

• Mentor, build and train the team into becoming better PR practitioners

• Maintain keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and provide effective PR strategies.

• To undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Public Relations/Communications/ Media Studies or equivalent.

• Working experience of at least 3 years in the senior leadership role in the related field is required.

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively, delegate and manage assignments and accurately evaluate the team\xe2\x80\x99s work.

• Good attitude and ability to work well under stress is a MUST.

• Willing to work on extended hours and on Public Holidays if/when necessary.

• Must possess own transport.
