As we expand our market presence, we are seeking an experienced presales consultant who is passionate and capable of presenting and demonstrating our software offerings to financial institutions. YOUR MISSION As a software presales consultant, you will be supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and product demonstrations to potential customers. You will help to identify customer needs and propose solutions that match the company\'s software offerings. You will be responsible for crafting unique value propositions to help us win the deals that you are involved in. You will be responsible for understanding each prospects needs and answering the Request for Proposals by collaborating closely with our sales, product, and technical teams to create compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts that highlight the value and differentiation of our offerings. You will become our Rock Star as you learn to navigate the market needs of the industry we are in and provide high level solutions based on the customer needs and what our innovative software can provide, effectively presenting how our software solutions can address those needs. HOW WOULD YOU ACHIEVE THIS You will need to: Learn our software solutions and become subject matter expert in the industry we are in: You have to be good at logic, at configuration and be quick to learn about the industry that we serve. Prior experience in credit management systems (loan originations, loan management, debt collections) will be a plus. You will be expected to act as a subject matter expert during client interactions, addressing technical inquiries and concerns. Develop in-depth understanding of clients\' needs: You are expected to be able to conduct in-depth discovery sessions with potential clients to understand their business requirements, pain points, and objectives. Answer Requests for Proposals: You have to be a good articulator, able to simplify complex concepts so that our prospects can understand our offering whilst protecting the scope by defining the constraints in implementation for each requirement required by the customer. Be a good configurator: This job requires technical skills, specifically someone who loves logic, adept at learning SQL (training will be provided) and can handle customer work processes and work flow. Our presales consultants are responsible for developing, planning, and orchestrating compelling proof of concept (POC) demonstrations to breathe life into possibilities, leaving clients excited about our software capabilities. Be a good presenter: Presentation skills are a must. You must be able to craft and deliver compelling presentations, present and effectively communicate your ideas to customers and convince them of the features, benefits and value that we are able to deliver through our software as well as our company\'s capability to deliver the solution effectively for our clients. Be a team player: You will need to collaborate closely and work effectively with the sales team to develop tailored solutions and strategies that align with clients\' unique needs and challenges. Other than that, you are also expected to collaborate closely with our technical and product team to provide market feedback in order to continuously improve our solutions. Be quick on your feet and good at show and tell: To win over the customers, we need to understand the customer\'s business and be able to answer business questions with technical know-how and demonstrate how their business needs can be solved using the software. Develop first level scope of work: Our presales consultants are responsible for developing the scope of work for the agreements after winning the bids as they have been responsible for understanding the needs of the customers and delivering the proof of concept. The presales consultants also have to brief the delivery team on all the commitments that has been given by the presales during the bidding process for them to take over the account. Be curious and stay ahead of competition: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with market trends, understanding product landscapes, and studying competitors. Your insights will be useful as you collaborate and provide feedback and suggestions to product teams for product improvement. Build assets for the company: Provide input and help Marketing and Sales, crafting solution-based marketing kits, dynamic slides, and captivating product writeups that resonate with our customers. WHAT WE\'RE LOOKING FOR You\'re the perfect fit if you possess: A Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field. 3-5 years of proven success within a Presales role in the Software/Solution domain. Exceptional problem-solving and prioritization skills that can conquer any challenge. A knack for presentations that captivate and resonate, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, making you a virtuoso in collaboration. A hunger for knowledge and an open mind, ready to delve into the intricate world of banking system applications. A strong grip on SQL or an edge in financial loans processing and credit management. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel as needed to client sites, industry events, and company headquarters.
