Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chinese Language Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Chinese language instruction to primary and secondary students, with a focus on IGCSE and SPM syllabuses. The role requires a dynamic individual who can engage students in both written and spoken Chinese, foster a love for the language, and contribute to their academic success.

Responsbilites

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for primary students, focusing on basic Chinese language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles and needs. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support. Prepare students for standard assessments and exams, including IGCSE and SPM components relevant to their level. Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans for secondary students, covering advanced Chinese language skills and preparing students for IGCSE and SPM exams. Integrate relevant IGCSE and SPM syllabus requirements into lesson plans and assessments. Encourage critical thinking and advanced language use through discussions, assignments, and projects.

Open for fresh-graduate

Proven experience teaching Chinese at primary and/or secondary levels, with familiarity with IGCSE and SPM syllabuses. Strong command of both written and spoken Chinese. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.

Pay: Up to RM16.00 per hour
