This is a leading school on the island of Penang, located in the prestigious neighbourhood of Tanjung Bungah, just outside George Town. The school offers a British-based curriculum for 3 to 16-year-olds that follows the IPC, the National Curriculum for England and IGCSEs. With a new 75,000-square-foot STEAM facility set to open in April 2024, the school community is set to embark on a new approach to education pillared on the progressive learning approach of STEAM: science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Powering its new STEAM focus is an educational philosophy that has been proven around the world: Amazing Learning. Amazing learning is about persisting through challenges and achieving breakthroughs. The student population of approximately 560 comprises 33 different nationalities. The teaching staff is both expatriate and Malaysian. • Appropriate degree and teaching qualification, e.g., bachelor\'s degree with teaching qualification, PGCE/Diploma in Education or relevant degree.
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, preferably in an international school context covering the International Primary Curriculum.
• Must be able to teach computing.
• Creative, inspiring, patient, resourceful, and energetic.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly responsible, dedicated, hardworking, and a team-player.
• Reflective individual who is committed to life-long learning and development.
• Experience teaching students English as an additional language.
