Matrix International School (MIS) is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia. The school is approximately 35 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. We offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years to IGCSE, based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
MIS is seeking a person who will enable students to achieve their potential in English, mathematics and science and their development towards other subjects covered in the primary curriculum. To help students leave MIS as confident and independent, life-long learners who can communicate their ideas effectively.
We also require a person who takes a progressive, creative approach to teaching and has the necessary skills and vision to enhance the learning and teaching at MIS in KS1 and KS2. We seek a teacher who is dedicated to helping our learners maximise their potential and is committed to the well-being and pastoral needs of our learners.
We are seeking professionals who:

  • are UK-trained or equivalent (PGCE or QTS) and has relevant experience of the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales;
  • have at least two years of experience in teaching in a primary school and is registered with the Department of Education (DfE) or equivalent;
  • have up-to-date knowledge on the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales;
  • can deliver a balanced, broad and differentiated curriculum for their learners;
  • can deliver well-planned, rigorous and interesting learning experiences for their students;
  • have high expectations of learners with appropriate inspiration and challenge;
  • encourage and contribute to a well-organised and inspiring learning environment;
  • experience of integrating technology into learning and teaching;
  • have a growth mindset to all aspects of school life;
  • passionate and willing to go above and beyond for the school community.
