SUMMARY

We are looking for the most international solution architect to join Deutsche Post DHL, he/she will work on the most complex IT landscape, i.e. solutions that support 200 countries, processing hundreds of millions of data, zero downtime, highly resilience with near 100% uptime.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work with people responsible for architectural communication in all regions of IT Services and in DP DHL Business divisions

• Communicate all important news to the architectural community effectively

• Analyze public events regarding IT architecture and bring them to the attention of the members of the team

• Lead definition, initiation and design of architecture in projects/ programs and coordinate collaboration with external service providers

• Apply standard methodologies when creating new architecture, programs and applications or when maintaining existing ones

• Act as Technical lead of development teams on issues of performance, tools, and standards

• Understanding and analyzing business requirements

• Finding the best tech solution among all possible to support the business requirements

• Understanding Enterprise Architecture (EA) and aligning EA standard

• Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered

• Advocate to explore new technology, creating a solution prototype with development team

• In charge of engineering problems

• Support project management

• 10 years of experience in software development and solution architecting especially in Java and SOA based solution.
• Experienced in leading end-to-end IT project from proposal phase till deployment phase.
• Experienced in SOA principles and system design.
• Knowledge in JAVA, Angular, NodeJS, Oracle, Web Services and Microservices application development.
• Experience in tools to measure software deliverables quality. (e.g. SonarQube, Fortify & Etc.)
• Experienced in IT product or solution deployment strategy planning.
• Experienced in documenting IT architecture documentations via UML.
• Involved in various IT project management methodology, e.g. Agile, DevOps, RAD, prototyping, JAD, SDLC & etc.
• Value added for experience in leading a small/large IT technical team.
• IT infrastructure and Cloud development experience
• Experience with Microservices Architecture, Docker Container Platform
• Inquisitive and analytical minded
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the desire to share technical knowledge and information with others.
