Job Posting Period: 3 Weeks (Due date is 31 October 2022)

Purpose Statement

This role will support the business by brining in depth knowledge and development skill of BI(Power BI or Tableau) platform in finance area to achieve the overall goals of organization by developing advanced analytics, highly visualized interactive dashboards and self-service tools

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate all existing dashboards in the company and data sources for further development
• Create the dashboards to be attractive and professional using Tableau platform to deliver the insightful information based on the understanding of medical devices' industry
• Create user-friendly and dynamic BI dashboards with KPIs, Heat Maps, Scatterplots, Waterfall and Bar Charts, Slicers, Drill down, Drill up etc.
• Develop multiple prototypes, mock-ups and conceptualization of ideas that bring simplicity and context to complex design challenges
• Ensure Tableau dashboard should be comprehensively simple, easily readable, flexible to zoom-in and zoom-out from the top to reasonable bottom by customer and the report should deliver the key meaning for each customer
• Establish and maintain the processes to provide accurate report on the right time
• Provide advanced Tableau and database training to regional and country finance members as BI expert in APAC
• Collaborate closely with Data analyst to improve report performance, especially for the speed
• Generates and champions new ideas, approaches, and initiatives. Encourages new ways of looking at problems, processes, and solutions.
• Design and provide trainings of BI(PowerBI or Tableau) reports to regional and country FP&As and internal customers. Develop use case to improve usage for better/faster adaption of new reporting format
• Influence and engage people in and outside of own organization to lead to successful communication with employees of all levels.
• Proactively make suggestion for operational excellence with solutions aligned with internal stakeholders in order to link the BI dashboard to business strategy/requirements without specific guidance. Collect feedback from regional and country FP&A and reflect into the solutions accordingly by aligning with the HUB managers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of progressive development working experience using Tableau as BI developer
• Ability to propose ideas and to create more than basic Tableau visuals with proven and strong advanced Tableau certificate
• Proven experience of accounting & financial system (SAP, Hyperion, Concur, etc.)
• Creative sense of graphic & colors for professional report
• Proven track record of identifying improvement opportunities and implementation of the solutions, challenging status quo for operational excellence
• Proven skills of stakeholder management in matrix organization
• Proven ability to work with a 'sense of urgency' to meet critical deadlines
• Strong project management skills including prioritization and time management
• Proven ability to coach/guide others
• Advanced collaboration and team working skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and multi-task with flexible and agile mindset
• Ability to work across different cultures
• Fluency in English both verbal and written
• Degree in Business or mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science (or equivalent)

Preferred experience or skill

• Experience of Alteryx as data modeling and managing tool
• Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, QlikView) to leverage
• Experience with programming tools such as R, Python etc. and integration with Tableau platform
