Job Summary

• Manage and lead for the Core Network Architecture, Solution and Services team, to provide core technology strategy, topology and architecture roadmap to support U Mobile network and enterprise business solution.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Custodian of core architecture and topology roadmap - mid-to-long term.
• Technology strategy - to study, track new and emerging technology, prioritizing and putting them into business perspective / importance. Work with business / enterprise innovation team to capitalized business opportunities in-line with overall corporate vision.
• Project Lead for core related RFP / RFQ / RFI to support business requirements.
• Develop core strategy and capacity projection for AOP exercise.
• Work with respective engineering teams within Network for technology PoC / trial, e.g. 5G verticals, Private Network, Edge Computing, Enterprise solutions etc.
• Organize periodic core technology road map update.
• Represents U Mobile in industry forums (e.g. GSMA, TM Forum), MCMC related strategic initiatives.
• Conduct selective product trial / tests for new solutions / technologies to verify solution suitable as option for market introduction.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering with at least 15 years of working experience in which more than 10 years in core network strategy, architecture, and planning.
• Experience in 5G SA core, IMS, Enterprise core, Private Network solution architecture / topology; New and emerging core network technology, evolution to kubernetes (bare meter) architecture, network slicing, cloud core.
• Knowledge and experience in core standardizations, industry best-practices, technology trending, including 3GPP specifications development.
• Strong strategic and critical thinking mindset; Able to make strategic recommendations and proposals; identifying potential risks and proposing mitigations.
• Self-motivated, positive, open, with can-do attitude; agile and able to learn fast.
• Strong communication, inter-personal skill, and professionalism in representing U Mobile externally, in industry forums, and MCMC.
