Job Responsibilities:

Bureau Veritas is looking for Principal Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Telecommunication Facilities for one of our oil and gas project for the Asset Life Extension study (ALES) to review of existing data, condition, current, remaining life assessment, risk assessment etc for any replacement, repair, upgrade work and establish a modification plan for remedial work execution and provision of ALES report.
Experience in any engineering analysis, software simulations and results to confirm the integrity or reliability. All engineering scope above shall be referred to relevant and accepted industry standards and practices.
The following studies shall be part of the reviewed documents for ALES report:

• Data from development, design, fabrication, installation, operating and maintenance phase.
• Detailed inspection of the operating equipment.
• Reviews of the integrity and protection provided by the equipment, i.e., PSV adequacy check, protection relay coordination study, electrical system studies etc.
• Review of the plant extensions, load increment, equipment upgrading, etc.
• Obsolescence of facilities, equipment, system, software, etc.
• Any other detailed studies such as Stress Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, IPF studies, RCA, HSSE related report (e.g., Safety Study Report, Risk Assessment, EIA, etc.)
• Study on the future operational changes such as changes in feed composition, increment/decrement of production rate, platform decommissioning, etc.

Telecommunication Facilities covers:

• Voice Communications System (Marine/Air to Ground/Digital Radio)
• Radar & Vessel Tracking Management System including AIS/GPS, Heading
• Weather Monitoring System
• PABX System & Sat Telephone
• PAGA System
• Microwave Communications
• IT Equipment & Internet Facilities

Qualification: Must be a degree holder in any engineering discipline With a minimum of five (5) years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in oil and gas (onshore / offshore) and at least one (1) Asset Life Extension Study (ALES) or similar project experience Well versed with IEC, IEEE, ISO, AGA, SMA, ITU and IEC 62402
