Job responsibilities:

Performance Testing: Independently conduct HVAC system performance tests, including temperature & humidity, airflow, air pressure, and cooling load, with optimization based on results. Standards Compliance: Knowledgeable in data center standards (TIA-942, GB50174, ISO 9001), ensuring tests and validations meet industry requirements. Tools & Equipment: Proficient with testing instruments such as temperature/humidity loggers, anemometers, airflow meters, and pressure sensors. Project & Team Management: Develop testing plans, allocate resources efficiently, and lead teams to complete complex HVAC testing tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency. Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve system or equipment issues; propose and implement effective improvements. Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepare accurate, detailed test and data analysis reports to support decision-making and system optimization. Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate effectively with design, construction, and operations teams; familiar with Building Management Systems (BMS) and cross-disciplinary systems (power, fire protection, automation).

Job requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC engineering, with a focus on data center environments. Proven track record of successful HVAC system design and implementation. Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Proficiency in HVAC design software and tools. Project management experience, including budgeting and scheduling. * Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
