About the role:
The establishment of this role is to build sales capabilities to improve and accelerate Capital Equipment(\xe2\x80\x9cCE\xe2\x80\x9d) revenue growth across APAC aligning with business strategy.
This role is critical to develop and to deliver Sales Learning and Development programs as well as Sales Effectiveness Programs for CE business, for both company personnel (i.e. sales manager, sales reps) and external sales network (e.g. distributors and 3rd party) in local countries in APAC. The role also evaluates and continuously creates programs to ensure the ongoing development of organizational capability to accelerate CE growth (assets, consumables and contracts revenue) and to improve customer satisfaction in all APAC countries.
This role will drive building the following capabilities in sales orgs across region:
-Capable to build CE opportunity pipelines, effective management of sales process and increase the win rate for sales of CE business.
-Maximize lifetime opportunities of CE business, which is to maximize the utilization of CE and the service contracts / parts sales.
Key responsibilities:
-Develops and conducts CE specific sales training and sales effectiveness programs for company personnel (Sales Manager, Sales Reps) and external sales network in all APAC countries incl. ASEAN.
-Collaborate with BU(Business Unit)/CETS (Capital Equipment Technical Service) stakeholders across region to analyze the business gap through comprehensive source of information and to create effective Learning and Development programs to optimize the CE Go-To-Market ("GTM") strategy.
-Develops and measures success of the Learning and development programs created. Develop the appropriate measure to assess the effectiveness of programs and implement the solutions by aligning with stakeholders in matrix orgs.
-Go to the field ("Gemba") \xe2\x80\x93 work with sales and service personnel across region to clearly understand their roles, challenges and opportunities to improve their performance, by analyzing the respective sales data/reports.
-Monitors and follow up the completion of the required trainings of company personnel (i.e. sales managers/sales reps) to ensure employees are properly trained in processes and procedures.
-Build trainers network across region by training the internal & external trainers and lead improvement of training program content and delivery to improve stickiness of the program in each country considering the country specific needs.
-Support CE Center of Excellence implementation programs in each country to provide his/her expertise
-Initiate Sales Force Effectiveness programs and drive improvement both incrementally and structurally by understanding each country\'s business and needs.
-Works independently with long range objectives. Selects the appropriate methods and techniques by leading the project/tasks to completion.
-Develops guideline and procedures, new techniques and standards related to CE sales Learning and Development programs.
-Travel requirement
: Up to 50% of time is expected to travel for initial project phase visiting all APAC (Incl. ASEAN) countries. After stabilization, it will be approx.25%.

Minimum requirements
-Min 5 years of working experience or equivalent in sales training/learning and development area
(MUST)
-Proven ability to effectively design Learning and Development programs for Sales and soft skills and to deliver aligning with company strategy in matrix org
(MUST)
-Proven ability to analyze the issues and propose the effective solutions to close the gap, aligning with stakeholders to execute in matrix org to drive the business growth
(MUST)
-Proven ability of coaching including methodology and people development
(MUST)
-Track record of leading complex project planning and execution in the area of learning and development with strong prioritization and time management skills
(Preferred)
-Successful working experience in complex selling environment especially capital equipment and systems selling
(Preferred)
-Sales experience is plus
-Familiar with digital sales effectiveness applications
(Optional)
-Strong business acumen. High learning agility
-Proven ability of logical and strategic thinking
-Regional project/work experience is plus
-Keen interest in medical device, healthcare business.
-Proven ability to work effectively and collaborate in diverse culture

-Fluent in English. Asian language capability is plus
