We\'re looking for a Principal Concept Artist to join our award winning team conveniently located in Mid City Valley, Kuala Lumpur. As a Principal Concept Artist at Double Eleven, you\'ll work closely with Leads to conceive, develop and deliver high-quality concept art, maintain and communicate the established vision. We can support relocation within Malaysia and have a dedicated Operations team on standby to assist you and your family with every step to us. Responsible for creating and iterating on ideas whilst maintaining the artistic vision. Ensuring concept quality and consistency throughout a project or numerous projects. Provide fast concept and iteration of ideas across all aspects of the brief. To produce high quality game direction visuals across multiple styles. Work with a passionate development team from various departments (Art, Code, Design, QA etc) to create exceptional quality art for video games. What We\'re Looking For Demonstrable experience as a Senior/Principal Concept Artist. Showcase a strong and inspiring portfolio of high-quality and creative concept art. Strong understanding of art and design fundamentals and skills, including drawing, anatomy, composition, perspective, light, colour, functional design. Experience in creating art style / visual development documents. Excellent knowledge of game development, art creation pipelines and workflows. Passion for world-building, contextual narrative and storytelling. Ability to create internal publishing/marketing material as and when needed. Ability to give and receive feedback and adapt to the visual direction. Ability to analyse and deconstruct visual style and direction. Able to work in multiple artistic styles. Possess high levels of aesthetic ability, judgment and eye for detail. Ability to manage time and production schedules efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high quality art. Excellent knowledge in industry software packages ie Adobe Photoshop and similar tools. High proficiency in speed painting and photobashing to visualise ideas and make quick and accommodative iterations. Intermediate technical knowledge in 3D production techniques to employ and support the concept creation workflow. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Bonus Experience in mentoring concept artists. Strong traditional art skills. Knowledge in hard surface and industrial design ie. props/ weapons/ vehicles is an added advantage. Experience with Game Engines ie. Unreal Engine, Unity Experience with Management Software i.e. Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Azure Dev Ops. Adequate knowledge in video game design in relation to art and gameplay.
