Job Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Printing Technician with experience in flexographic printing to join our printing team. This role requires flexibility to work in rotating shifts.

What you'll be doing

Set up and operate printing machines, ensuring they function efficiently and produce high-quality output. Prepare and install printing plates for the printing machine Monitor the print run to ensure color accuracy, registration, and overall quality. Conduct regular inspections of printed materials to identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies to meet established quality control standards. Monitor ink levels, paper stock and other consumables, replenishing supplies to avoid production interruption. Perform routine checks and carry out minor repairs on printing machine; escalating unresolved issues to the maintenance team to minimize downtime. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Maintain detailed production records and provide regular reports on performance metric

What we're looking for

Diploma or equivalent. At least 1-2 years working experience in operating printing machines; preferably in flexographic printing. Good understanding of printing processes, colour separation and print quality standards. Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Good communication and teamwork skills
