Job Description

As a

Process Engineer

, you will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing processes to achieve higher efficiency, better product quality, and enhanced cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, R&D, and supply chain to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure smooth, safe, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Design, implement, and optimize plastic production processes to meet quality and output targets. Monitor and analyze process data to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and documentation for process control. Collaborate with the quality team to ensure compliance with

ISO 9001

and other relevant quality standards. Troubleshoot process-related issues in real-time to minimize production downtime. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations. Support the introduction of new materials, molds, and technologies into the production line. Assist in the evaluation and commissioning of new equipment and tooling. Train production personnel on new processes, quality standards, and safety protocols. Participate in audits and continuous improvement programs such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma initiatives.

Jobs Requirement:



Bachelor's Degree in

Chemical Engineering

,

Polymer Engineering

,

Industrial Engineering

, or a related technical discipline.

2 to 5 years

of hands-on experience in

plastic manufacturing

,

injection molding

, or

process engineering

roles within a production environment. Strong understanding of

process design

,

control

, and

optimization

methodologies. Practical knowledge of

quality systems

such as

ISO 9001

, GMP, or other industry standards. Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving tools (e.g., Pareto, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC). Excellent

communication

and

interpersonal skills

to work effectively with production teams, suppliers, and management. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure. Familiarity with CAD software or process simulation tools is an added advantage

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
