While we typically welcome applicants from all locations, for this particular role, we are prioritizing candidates who are currently residing in Malaysia or have an established presence in the area.About The JobResponsible to carry out process design of systems and plants according to design guidelines and industry standards on development, standardization or customer projects.Collaborate with sales group generate mass and energy balance, main equipment list, specification of equipment, P&IDxc2xb4s & functional descriptions for appointed projectsIn cooperation with the project manager and lead engineers organize and execute the process engineering activities for appointed projects incl. specification of components and instrumentsDetailed design of the P&ID / Systems based on the Business Unit flow chart / general process designClarify process strategy and requirements with bid owner and customerParticipate in external meetings with customers to discuss/clarify process issues and engineering activitiesParticipate in commissioning & performance tests and assist in troubleshootingProvide optimal process design and provision of detailed information to the bid teamWhat you know?Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical EngineeringMinimum 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience.Basic knowledge on valves, electrical motor, instrumentation, automation and structural engineering.Fluent in English (both written and spoken).A structured and systematic approach person with project management exposure.Experience in edible oil processes will be an added advantage.What is in it for you?You get access to an international, open and friendly environment where we help each other to develop and create values for our customers, people and planetYou work in a company who values personal development and leadershipYour work will have a true impact on Alfa Lavalxe2x80x99s future successWe care about diversity, inclusion and equity in our recruitment processes.
