Job Responsibilities
Maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes for instrumentation products.
Drive production process optimization; track issues and implement corrective actions to closure.
Prepare and update manufacturing documentation such as SOPs, PFMEA, process flow charts, and work instructions.
Plan and execute pilot builds or small-lot trial runs; organize review meetings and compile reports.
Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype to mass production, ensuring smooth sample builds and trial runs with no major quality issues.
Lead validation and introduction of new materials, technologies, and processes; manage localization validation for materials and parts.
Provide skills training and upskilling for operators and technicians.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
35+ years of experience in process engineering; familiar with structural design, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and design methodologies; proficient with SolidWorks, Pro/E (Creo), and AutoCAD.
Familiar with electrical control principles and common component selection; knowledgeable in pneumatic principles and pneumatic component selection.
Experience in designing non-standard automation equipment within the semiconductor testing industry is an advantage.
High sense of ownership and execution, with strong organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Good communicator, meticulous, responsible, and a strong team player.
