Process Engineer (CNC / Tooling / Stamping)

Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia
Salary: Up to RM7,000/month

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled

Process Engineer

to join our growing team. This role involves developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, CNC programming, tooling design, and supporting precision engineering/aerospace component production. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, driving process improvements, and supporting new product introductions (NPI).

Key Responsibilities

Develop, create, and update

sheet metal forming / stamping processes

and work instructions based on engineering drawings and specifications. Design

stamping tools, die-sets, tooling, fixtures, and gauges

for fabrication processes. Develop manufacturing processes such as

Broaching, Orbital Riveting, Shot Peening, Heat Treatment, Brazing, EDM, and Welding

. Prepare technical costing for NPI and existing projects. Conduct

pre-production pilot runs

and provide training to production associates. Provide technical support to production teams to meet quality and technical requirements. Liaise with Singapore OEM customers on product requirements, process qualifications, and technology development. Create and adjust

CNC machining programs

by interpreting engineering drawings and part specifications. Support

continuous improvement projects

and assist with RFQ proposal development. Perform regular machine upkeep and troubleshoot issues related to CNC equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in

Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical, or Materials Engineering

(or related field). Minimum

3 years' experience

in precision engineering, aerospace component manufacturing, or mass manufacturing. Hands-on experience in

CNC machining and programming

using CAD/CAM. Proficient in

CAD software

; Siemens NX / Unigraphics preferred. Knowledge of

Milling, Turning, Tool Design, and Fixture Design

. Familiarity with

special processes

such as Heat Treatment, Brazing, EDM, Shot Peening, and Welding. Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented mindset.

7:30am - 4:48pm
