About the job Process Engineer (Environmental & Engineering Industry)
Company Background
We are representing our client a Malaysian engineering specializing in the environmental and wastewater treatment industry. The company focuses on the design, fabrication, installation, and servicing of mechanical equipment for sewage and wastewater treatment plants.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop process design and mass balance for STP/WWTP system
- Perform hydraulic loading calculations and tank sizing.
- Ensure system complies with SPAN guidelines and approved technologies (EA, SBR, etc.)
- Assist in preparing technical documentation for tender submissions.
- Attend site visits to gather operational data and validate design assumptions.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and internal design team on technical matters.
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering field
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in wastewater/process design preferred
- Basic understanding of STP/WWTP systems (e.g. EA, SBR)
- Knowledge of SPAN guidelines is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD is a plus
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel for site visits when required.
- Working hours: Mon-Fri (9.00am-6.00pm)
