Sarawak, MalaysiaWorker Type: Interns (Fixed Term) (Trainee)Posting Start Date: February 7, 2025Recruiting Instruction:Talent Brew field:What is ESP (Ensure Safe Production)?The Ensure Safe Production (ESP) standard provides a structured framework for operating assets cost-effectively within safe and optimal limits, without compromising integrity or reliability. It aims to:

• Establish routines to maximize value while delivering the Production Plan.
• Manage situational awareness by standardizing communications and planning across operation shifts.
• Determine facility design, Safety Instrumented Function (SIF), critical, standard, integrity, and target limits, and set corresponding notifications.
• Enable proactive monitoring of processes and equipment.
• Define a common method for managing abnormal situations.

Internship Program Tasks:

• Review and update ESP registers (e.g., DOW - Design Operating Window, IOW - Integrity Operating Window Register, LO - Locked Open/LC - Locked Closed Register, Standing Alarm Register, Passing Valve Register, Override Register).
• Create ESP master data records to capture historical performance & perform analysis.
• Assist in simplifying operating procedures.
• Plant Turnaround support (supporting PEM).

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant Degree program (Mechanical/Chemical Engineering) as a penultimate/final year students
• Minimum CGPA 3.0 and above
• Minimum 3 months of internship commitment
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software (knowledge in automation/data analytical tools will be an added advantage
