Provide support to the production team by assisting in plant upgrading, modification, preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Department to ensure the implementation of 5S, HACCP, FSMS, EMS, and safety practices within the department.
Maintain and enhance the overall condition of the plant, aiming to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
Take the lead in managing the maintenance team and contractors for efficient execution of plant projects.
Assist the production team in delivering training on plant operation, maintenance programs, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Organize and schedule duties and programs for the maintenance supervisor to execute the preventive maintenance program effectively.
Oversee and enforce safety regulations and protocols within the plant to maintain a secure working environment.
Ensure compliance with established food hygiene and safety programs, taking responsibility for process control parameters and promptly addressing any non-conformances, complaints, or potential food safety hazards.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Food Science/Tech, Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical) or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in Food/Chemical/Oil & Fats or Oleo Chemical processing industry is required for this position.
Knowledge of food safety or food technology is added advantage.
