Job Title: Process Engineer (Plating Process)
Job Summary: Maintain and improve manufacturing processes to meet internal process quality and productivity performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities: * Oversee plating performance, conduct root cause analysis, investigate process failures and recommend appropriate solutions or corrective actions
- Work with cross-functional teams on process capability and yield improvement projects
- Coordinate troubleshooting of process issues and yield losses
- Drive for continuous process improvement and permanent solutions to resolve chronic process and quality issues.
- Develop best practices, routine and innovative solutions for continuous improvement
- Perform Statistical data analysis for process improvement and interpretation of data
- Apply problem solving methods and risk analysis (FMEA)
- Computer literate and well versed with Microsoft applications.
Minimum 5 years experiences in manufacturing engineering particularly electroplating process and preferred in leadframe manufacturing industry
Skills and Competencies: * Possess good and effective communication skill with all levels with the organization, suppliers and customers
- Ability to provide leadership, direction, identify and resolve issues with other departments group effectively
- Able to work long hours and under high-pressure in fast paced environment
- Able to implement and carry-out improvement opportunities to identify profits and increase productivity
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Articulate, confident, result oriented and able to work independently under pressure
