Process Engineer, Vision/AOI

Job description

This semiconductor company in Melaka is seeking a Vision Process Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize existing programs in AOI area, ensuring all programs are running within specified quality targets. Support for new product and/or process introduction,

support for continuous yield and process improvement. Escalate all processes related problems according to escalation procedure. * Coordinate yield improvement evaluations, set and meet yield targets, arrange meetings with Production and R&D Engineers to enhance assembly yield, collaborate with R&D on new product/process implementation, validate new AOI programs, support new machine setup, create timely SOPs, address hold tag lot/maverick\'s lot screening, prevent and address quality issues in production, collaborate with Quality on internal and external cases, lead CI projects for high defect issues, update process flow, enhance production output and yield, enforce process adherence, oversee machine buyoff for assembly functionality and stability.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Electronic/relevant).
• Preferably with 3 years minimum (or more) working knowledge & experience in high volume manufacturing Semiconductor environment with exposure to Vision Process/Machinery.
• Good and effective communication skills with all levels within the organization and customer, with high emphasis on strong oral & written proficiency in English.
• Self-motivated individual who is action/result oriented, independent, flexible, with a passion for developing technical excellence products
• Hands on experience on vision application
• Excellent communication skills, with cross-cultural awareness and understanding
