Job Description
Position: Indirect Sourcing & Category Management Procurement Buyer Duration: 1-year contract (renewable basis/Able to convert to permanent) Salary: Up to RM13,000 Working Hour: Standard Location: TRX, Kuala Lumpur Job Responsibilities:
- Develop sourcing strategies and RFXs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to define product/service specifications.
- Conduct market research and benchmark suppliers.
- Engage in strategic sourcing and spot buying for various categories.
- Track monthly savings and benefits from sourced agreements.
- Manage global and local suppliers, negotiate prices, and assess performance.
- Contribute to strategic projects for enhanced savings and compliance.
- Help develop procurement policies and processes.
- Be the go-to expert for specific categories.
- Lead high-value sourcing initiatives.
- Provide support for SEA procurement activities.
- Minimum Degree qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement and contract management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Category expertise in Facilities & Services, Travel, IT, and Professional Services.
- Ability to collaborate effectively.
- Willingness to drive efficiency and savings.
Contract length: 12 months Salary: RM12,500.00 - RM13,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
